Nasolabial Folds

The nasolabial folds, commonly known as "smile lines" or "laugh lines", are facial features. They are the two skin folds that run from each side of the nose to the corners of the mouth. They are defined by facial structures that support the buccal fat pad.

According to the Mayo Clinic website, gravity pulls our skin down as we age. This causes the cheeks to flatten. At the same time, patients may experience other facial changes, such as drooping eyelids. These changes may create a tired or sad look, even when the patient doesn’t feel this way.

By injecting filler in the crease of the nasolabial fold the it will become less visible and filler will stay for up to 12 months depends on the brand of the filler and the style of life.
